Subaru has released a first official image of the BRZ STI concept ahead of its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
As you see, the concept has an aggressive front fascia with a prominent grille, carbon fiber roof and LED daytime running lights. There's also bulging fenders, boot lid, a massive rear wing, the tail lamp, a four-tailpipe exhaust system and STI alloy wheels.
In a short statement, the company stated the BRZ will have a low center of gravity and be a "pure handling delight" driving experience.
Subaru did not release any further information on its concept, but recent reports have indicated the Toyota FT-86 / Scion FR-S will weigh 1,210 kg and have a 2.0-liter Boxer engine with 200 hp and 205 Nm of torque.
